Uploading Supplemental Feed from ROI Hunter to Google Merchant Center is now easier and faster.

Updated over 12 months ago

How to Set Up

From December 1, 2021, all newly added Google Merchant Center accounts, supplemental feeds and their country/language combinations are done with an easier Content API method.

ROI Hunter uses a supplemental feed to manage custom labels for product groups created on Google Shopping Campaigns. Please, ensure it's added to your Google Merchant Center account for the campaign to run correctly.

NOTE: If you have one MCA account with multiple sub-GMC accounts, it is necessary to create a supplemental feed separately for each of the GMCs. It is not enough to connect the supplemental feed to the MCA level.

To integrate a supplemental feed:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Google Settings

  2. Select a Product Source by clicking the dropdown arrow on the right, and then clicking the "Manage" button

  3. In the Product Filters tab, click the "Supplemental Feed" button

  4. This window lists instructions for setting up a supplemental feed from Google Merchant Center, with the entry for the Feed ID at the bottom

To create a supplemental feed:

  1. Sign in to your Google Merchant Center account.

  2. Click on Products -> Settings -> Data Sources:

  3. Click on "Supplemental Sources" and select to add a new supplemental source:

  4. Choose the option "Add product data using API" and name ROI Hunter feed:

  5. Select your existing data source feed that matches the Language/Feed label combination:

  6. Once done, view the supplemental feed details. The feed ID will appear in the URL in your browser's search bar under joinFeedId=123456789

  7. The ID that is included in the URL joinFeedId is the supplemental feed ID that needs to be passed in RH.
