When connecting a Meta catalog to ROI Hunter, you may be asked to provide feed credentials. This occurs when the product feed is protected by a username and password that were set when the feed was first added to Meta.
To check whether your feed uses credentials—and where to find them—follow these steps:
🔍 How to Check If Your Meta Feed Is Credential-Protected
Open Meta Commerce Manager.
Select the catalog you’re connecting to ROI Hunter.
In the left-hand menu, go to “Data Sources” > “Data Feeds”.
Click the name of the feed (e.g. products.csv or similar).
Scroll down to the Settings section.
There, you’ll see:
The Feed URL
The Username and Password fields, if credentials were added during setup
If those fields are filled in, the feed is protected — Meta uses these credentials each time it fetches your feed.
To complete the connection, we need the exact same username and password that Meta is using.
✅ What to Do Next
Check your feed provider or contact dev team to retrieve the correct login credentials.
Enter the username and password into ROI Hunter when prompted — we’ll use them to access the feed directly.
💡 Tip
If you're unsure who manages your feed, ask your e-commerce team or whoever originally connected the feed to Meta. They should be able to provide access credentials or help you reset them if needed.
