How to connect Meta data sources to a Market

Updated over 3 years ago

To connect Meta data source to our platform, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Market and Assets page and choose the most relevant market from your current markets list or create a new one.

  2. Under the Advertising Assets tab, link your Meta Ad accounts and Catalogues.

  3. If you intend to use the account solely for static ads, tick the box labelled "This Ad Account will be used only for static Ads".

All of the ad accounts, pages, catalogues, apps, and pixels that are assigned to your ad user in Business Manager will also be available to you in ROI Hunter. However, you will need sufficient permissions for these assets in Business Manager to access and manage them in ROI Hunter.

For ad accounts and pages, you will need advertise permission to operate with these assets. Without it, you will not be able to create or manage any ads in Ads Manager or ROI Hunter.

For catalogues, it is necessary to have admin permission to make any enhancements to them. As for business, in order to duplicate or create new catalogues, you need to have an admin role. An employee role will allow you to do everything else in ROI Hunter, except creating new catalogues.

When you connect your assets, ROI Hunter will download data from Meta, and this process should take no longer than 24 hours. Please note that you will not be able to connect the same combination of Meta ad account and catalogue under multiple Markets.
