Is ROI Hunter a comparison shopping service (CSS) partner?

No. However, ROIH’s setup works with any CSS through which you currently advertise.

Can ROI Hunter help me fix my feed?

ROIH is not a feed provider and cannot change the product data. We simply download a list of products from your Merchant Center and work with those.

What’s the difference between Primary and Supplemental Feed?

You need a Primary feed to supply all the essential information about your products into Google Merchant. Your feed provider takes care of this. ROIH needs a Supplemental Feed to supply additional information about Products Filters. They appear on Custom Labels. A supplemental feed can influence preexisting data on Custom Labels.

How can I A/B test your Google solution?

Google doesn’t offer A/B or split tests for Shopping or PMax campaigns.

How many custom labels do I need for a RH Product Filter?

In theory, just one is enough. You are able to place up to 1,000 Product Filters on one Custom Label. There are 5 Custom Labels.

Should I avoid products overlapping in my campaigns?

Yes, this is the best practice. Not only will you be able to better control where your budget goes, but you will also have a better understanding of which campaigns perform best.

How do I avoid product overlaps?

You can utilize our unique product prioritization system. When creating more Product Filters on one custom label, the structure will prevent having one product in multiple campaigns.

Why can’t I add PMax asset groups in ROI Hunter?

At the moment, we only have the basic campaign creation covered. We encourage our users to add the assets in the Google Ads interface, as well as other more advanced settings.

Why are there 0 products under the Filter in the Filter overview, but several products in the Filter builder?

Consider a Product Filter that has 2nd priority. This Product Filter can show fewer or even zero products in the Filter overview. But when you or your CSM opens the Product Filter builder, the count of products is higher than what is seen on the overview of Product Filters.

This happens because the Product Filter with priority 1 has taken the most of the products from the Filter with 2nd priority. The number of products in overview is the number of products promoted in the campaign.
