Intro
Segments Dashboard allows you to analyze the historical performance of your product segments. It is a valuable resource for identifying both opportunities and anomalies in your product portfolio.
This guide is intended for onboarding purposes.

Tool Purpose
The main purpose of Segments Dashboard is to help you track the past performance of your product segments over time and identify areas for improvement.
This is in contrast to Product Insights (covered in other guides of this onboarding) which is designed for product exploration and strategy creation in real time.
Available Data
There are multiple kinds of data to access and interpret in Segments Dashboard. You can sort your segments according to a variety of metrics including:
Product count
Meta spend
Google cost
Product Revenue
Product ROAS per channel
Calculated metrics such as Gross profit
And more
Also consider integrating your custom business data in order to use metrics customized for your individual purposes.
Tool Components
At the top of the page, you can switch between views using the tabs:
Overview: This tab displays a table of your segments, sorted by performance. You can also filter the table by market and date range, or segment name.
Chart View: This tab provides a more visual way to view segment performance. You can choose from three types of charts: Segments Summary, Segments Comparison, and Trend in Time.
At the top-right of the page, you can adjust view settings:
Show/hide comparison with totals: Toggles the percentage of all products per segment.
Show/hide products in segments now: Toggles the active products column displaying current product count of your segments.
Customize segment table: Allows you to adjust the metrics information included in columns used to sort segments:
To the right of each segment are configuration options accessed by clicking the "..." ellipsis (triple dots) button:
Edit: This option will guide you to the Product Insights tool to change your segment.
View in the chart: This option will open your segment in the chart view to see more detailed information.
Delete: This option allow you to delete segments.
Chart View
Selecting the "Chart view" tab at the top of the page allows you to see graphs of segment performance.
There are three tabs underneath to select each graph available for use:
Segments summary: Shows the performance of any segment(s) according to two metrics.
Segments comparison: Displays any segment(s) according to a single metric for comparison purposes.
Trend in time: Describes how two metrics develop over time, which helps you learn about their possible correlation.

Usage
To use Segments Dashboard, follow these steps:
From the main left side panel, select Segments Dashboard.
Select the desired market and date range.
Sort the table by your desired metric.
Click the "..." ellipsis (triple dots) button next to a segment row to view detailed information or edit the segment.
Use the Chart View to visualize segment performance.
Compare segments with your entire product inventory for data discovery observations.
