This chapter details how to create CPV templates from scratch using the ROI Hunter platform.

The concept of a "difficulty scale" is introduced, showing how the complexity of a template increases based on the number of assets (images and videos) required.

Difficulty scale

  • Slideshow (easiest): Static background + multiple product images.

  • Video Frame: Brand video as frame + product image/s.

  • Product Video: product-level video + static overlay

  • Full Video (hardest): product-level video + video as frame

Creative Best Practices (by Meta)

  • Show the product within the first 2 seconds

  • Capture attention quickly with people, interesting visuals and transitions to grab attention

  • Fill the space, meaning you can create videos in all necessary aspect ratios (1x1, 4x5 and 9x16) for all Meta placements → Create a video for EACH aspect ratio!
