Running AI enhancements across a whole catalog means a lot of moving parts — different enhancements, different scopes, different stages of review.
The AI Enhancements page brings it all into one place: your company-level command center for every AI enhancement running across your account, no matter which catalog or how it was created.
See everything that's running, where, and in what state
Manage your enhancements (pause, resume, expand scope)
Review batches of generated images awaiting approval
How it works
The page has two tabs, based on where the enhancement was created:
Tab | Contains |
Tab 1 - Template Editor | Enhancements created via the Image or Video Template Editor (e.g. Background Removal) |
Tab 2 - AI Studio | Enhancements created via AI Creative Studio (Background Generation, Virtual Photoshoot) |
If you don’t have access to AI Creative Studio, Tab 2 will be hidden — you’ll only see Background Removal enhancements, plus a banner to request access.

Enhancement statuses
Template Editor enhancements (e.g. Background Removal):
Status | Meaning |
Active | Actively generating images because the enhanced template is applied to an active ad |
Paused | Generation is paused because the ad is inactive, or the template was removed from all ads |
Status here is for visibility only — to change it, edit the ad itself, not the AI Enhancements page.
AI Creative Studio enhancements (Background Generation, Virtual Photoshoot):
Status | Meaning |
Active | Actively generating images for the selected catalog + product set |
Paused | Generation paused by you |
You can pause and resume these directly on the AI Enhancements page.
Out of credits: this isn’t a separate status — it’s a flag. Your enhancement stays “Active,” but generation stops until credits are topped up. Products already processed keep using their AI image; products not yet processed fall back to the plain main image. Once you top up, generation resumes automatically — no need to re-apply anything.
Reviewing images
Review settings by enhancement type
Template Editor enhancements (Background Removal): your company has a review preference — Auto-approve or Manual review — set on the AI Enhancements page. It applies to all Template Editor enhancements and only affects newly generated images going forward.
AI Creative Studio enhancements (Background Generation, Virtual Photoshoot): always require manual review, regardless of your company's setting. Every image goes into the review queue before it becomes available in a template.
What happens while an image is pending review
Until approved, the ad falls back to non-AI content: an image template with an unapproved AI layer won't display at all (ad shows the plain product image instead); a video template falls back to an image template if one exists, or to the plain product image.
Once approved, the ad automatically switches to the AI-enhanced version — no further action needed.
Even with auto-approve enabled, you can still go back and manually reject individual images you're not happy with, at any time, from this page.
Available actions

Good to know
Cumulative counting: the number shown is cumulative rather than a current active range. Scope can also expand on the fly — as products move in and out of a product set over time, the total keeps changing — so the count reflects everything generated for the enhancement, not just what's active right now.
Review setting: the auto-approve / manual review preference is set at the company level and applies to Template Editor enhancements only. AI Creative Studio always requires manual review, regardless of this setting.
Changing the review setting only affects newly generated images — it won’t change how previously generated images were handled.
FAQ
Where do I go to see all my AI enhancements in one place?
The AI Enhancements page, under Creative Factory — it shows both Template Editor and AI Creative Studio enhancements across all your catalogs.
Why does my enhancement still say “Active” if I’m out of credits?
“Out of credits” is a flag, not a status change. The enhancement stays Active, but generation pauses until you top up. Nothing you’ve already generated is affected.
How do I pause a Background Removal enhancement?
Status for Template Editor enhancements follows the ad — pause or remove the template from the ad to pause generation. Pause/Resume as a direct action is available for AI Creative Studio enhancements only.
Can I reject an image after it’s already been approved?
Yes — go to Review images on the AI Enhancements page and reject it manually, even under auto-approve.
